Bhṛgu Saṃhitā

The Bhṛgu Saṃhitā is a celebrated tradition of horoscopic astrology attributed to the sage Bhṛgu. According to popular belief, it contains readings for countless births, and manuscripts in its name have been preserved and consulted by families of astrologers across India. This course approaches it as a traditional discipline and a cultural phenomenon: its legends, its relationship to classical Jyotiṣa, and the vocabulary of grahas, rāśis and bhāvas it uses. It makes no claim that astrological predictions are accurate.
