About this course

Prasāda

Prasāda means "grace": food and other offerings first presented to the Divine and then received back as a blessing. This short devotional course explores the idea behind it, rooted in the Bhagavad Gītā's verse that the Lord accepts even a leaf, flower, fruit or water offered with love. You will learn how offerings are traditionally prepared and presented, the attitude of gratitude and humility with which prasāda is received and shared, and how this simple practice can sanctify everyday life.
