About this course

Svara Vijñāna

Svara Vijñāna, the traditional “science of breath”, studies the flow of breath through the left and right nostrils, associated with the iḍā and piṅgalā nāḍīs, and the balanced state linked with suṣumnā. Rooted in the svarodaya tradition of yoga and tantra, it teaches how to observe which nostril is dominant and how tradition relates this to daily activities, timing and inner states. This introductory course presents these teachings as a traditional system of self-observation, not as proven medical science, alongside simple, safe breath-awareness practices.
