Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra
Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra
The Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra is a short, luminous text of the Kashmir Śaiva tradition, traditionally said to belong to the Rudrayāmala Tantra. It opens with Bhairavī (the Devī) asking Bhairava (Śiva) about the true nature of reality; instead of theory, he answers with 112 dhāraṇās — methods of meditation using breath, the senses, sound, space, emotion and everyday moments. Studying it in the tradition of Ādiyogī Śiva, you will understand the dialogue's philosophy and explore its practices gently and safely.
